2026 Nissan Patrol NISMO – Welcome Back, Hero!

1 min read

One of the most popular SUVs in the Middle East, the Nissan Patrol’s NISMO variant has finally made a comeback, and talk about having a dramatic rebirth. The Y63 Nissan Patrol was revealed a few months ago as the flagship Nissan full-size SUV, and everyone loved it, but something was missing.

Well, the latter has arrived. Welcome the most Powerful Nissan Patrol ever made to the dunes of the Middle East. This is the brand new 2025 Nissan Patrol Y63 NISMO. Let’s learn more about our local hero.

Nissan Patrol Y63 NISMO – Design

Nissan has given the Y63 Patrol a serious, muscular redesign. Larger Fender flares emphasise the NISMO-confident stance, and the front end is significantly more aggressive, with a larger grille flanked by vertical slashes that direct air around the front wheels. A splitter juts out below, concealing LED fog lamps and carrying the same red accent seen on both sides of the grille, the rear diffuser, the sculpted side skirts, and the sideview mirrors. The body kit lowers the SUV’s minimum ground clearance by 0.7 to 8.9 inches, which is significant. The NISMO gets two exclusive colours: NISMO Stealth Grey and Black Diamond Pearl.

At the rear, the spoiler extends much further than ever before. The Patrol NISMO wears new 22-inch forged wheels, fitted with Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S Enliten all-season tires, and the brake callipers are painted in a sporty red. NISMO badges are located in the centre of each fascia below the Nissan emblem. This new NISMO will definitely sell out by next month in the UAE.

Nissan Patrol Y63 NISMO – Interior

Just like the exterior, the interior is decked out completely with red accents, with a red microsuede quilted insert on the leather seats and a red stripe on the centre console. The NISMO logo is stitched into the headrests, embossed in the steering wheel, and found on the floor mats. The NISMO adds aluminium pedals and multicoloured ambient lighting. Other than that, the interior is similar to the regular Patrol.

Nissan Patrol Y63 NISMO – Powertrain Upgrades

The Patrol NISMO still gets the same twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V-6 as the regular Patrols, but Nissan managed to extract an extra 35 horsepower, bringing the total to 460 HP. Nissan says the gains came from an engine reprogramming and revising the valve clearances. The Armada also has a retuned exhaust, which is expected to sound better. To give the NISMO variant a more athletic driving demeanour, Nissan retuned the steering and adjusted the air suspension to make it drive sportier and, well, better.

Nissan Patrol Y63 NISMO – Verdict

This new NISMO version of the Patrol may not be anything special mechanically when compared to the regular Patrol, but the UAE and the entire Middle Eastern region will love this SUV as it’s reputation has crossed the boundary of logic and performance, the Patrol NISMO is simply an emotion.
