Lucid has unveiled the 2027 Gravity GT-S as the new high-performance version of its luxury electric SUV. The GT-S replaces the discontinued Dream Edition and brings 1,070 HP, performance-focused chassis upgrades and distinctive styling. It also costs significantly less than the model it replaces.
1,070 HP Dual-Motor Powertrain
The Gravity GT-S uses two electric motors that produce a combined 1,070 HP. Lucid estimates a 0-97 KM/H time of just 3.1 seconds.
The powertrain remains closely related to the previous Gravity Dream Edition. Lucid has not announced the full torque figure or final top speed.
Dynamic Handling Package Comes Standard
The GT-S comes with Lucid’s Dynamic Handling package as standard. It includes adaptive air suspension and rear-wheel steering.
These systems should improve both ride comfort and handling. The rear-wheel steering can also make the large SUV feel more agile during cornering and low-speed manoeuvres.
Distinctive Exterior With Blue Accents
Lucid has given the GT-S its own visual identity. Blue accents appear across the exterior, including the brake calipers.
The design follows the performance-focused character of Lucid’s Sapphire models. The GT-S also features subtle styling changes that distinguish it from other Gravity variants.
Sporty Cabin With Sapphire-Inspired Details
The blue theme continues inside the cabin. Blue accents appear on the seatbelts, steering wheel, armrests and contrast stitching.
Lucid also adds its bear logo to the headrests. Buyers can choose an optional leather interior upgrade for USD 1,300.
More Affordable Than The Dream Edition
The Gravity GT-S starts at USD 127,750 in the US. That makes it nearly USD 14,000 cheaper than the previous Gravity Dream Edition.
Despite the lower price, the GT-S retains the same 1,070 HP output. It also sits below the range-topping Gravity Sapphire in Lucid’s performance hierarchy.
Prices In The Middle East
The 2027 Lucid Gravity GT-S starts at USD 127,750 in the US. Based on that price, it could start around AED 470,000 to AED 490,000 in the UAE before local taxes and options. Prices may vary across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman depending on specifications, import costs and local charges.
Launch Timeline & Rivals
Lucid has opened order books for the Gravity GT-S, but the company has not confirmed when deliveries will begin. The electric SUV will compete with high-performance luxury EVs such as the Tesla Model X Plaid, BMW iX M70 and Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV. Overall, the Gravity GT-S combines supercar-level power with SUV practicality while offering a lower starting price than the previous Dream Edition.
