Ferrari Luce EV Interior Revealed With Apple-Inspired Design

1 min read

Ferrari has officially renamed its upcoming all-electric model from Elettrica to Luce. Ferrari Luce EV is expected to produce over 1000 HP and accelerate from 0–100 KM/H in under 2.5 seconds. It will use a 122-KWH battery pack and deliver an estimated 330 miles of range under European testing standards.

Designed With Love From

Ferrari partnered with LoveFrom, the creative firm founded by Jony Ive and Marc Newson. Both designers are known for their work at Apple.
The collaboration brings a minimalist yet tactile approach, blending advanced digital displays with physical controls rather than relying entirely on touchscreens.

Glass & Aluminum Interior Concept

The Ferrari Luce EV features extensive use of glass and brushed aluminum throughout the cabin. Soft-edged OLED displays are layered to create depth, allowing real needles and convex lenses to sit above digital graphics.
Ferrari worked with Samsung on the layered OLED system. This setup improves visibility and adds dimensional clarity, especially at high speeds.

Ferrari Luce EV: Tactile Controls Over Touchscreens

Unlike many modern EVs, the Luce prioritizes machined metal switches and physical toggles. The three-spoke leather steering wheel integrates anodized aluminum buttons for drive modes, suspension, and power settings.
Torque delivery is controlled through paddles, simulating gear changes to enhance driver engagement. Ferrari intentionally avoided making the touchscreen the primary interface.

Advanced Glass Engineering

The interior glass components were developed with Corning, known for Gorilla Glass technology. Ferrari states the material is highly resistant to scratches and shattering.
The glass gear selector and illuminated key fob create a theatrical startup sequence. Yellow lighting elements activate when the vehicle powers on, reinforcing brand drama.

Performance & Positioning

Weighing just under 5100 pounds, the Luce will be heavier than the Purosangue. However, its quad-motor setup ensures extreme acceleration and high-performance capability.
This EV marks a significant shift for Ferrari, combining electrification with emotional design elements traditionally associated with its V12 models.

Ferrari Luce EV: Middle East Market Expectations

High-performance EVs are gaining traction in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the luxury segment. A four-seat Ferrari EV offering over 1000 HP could appeal to buyers seeking exclusivity with cutting-edge technology.
Strong charging infrastructure growth across the GCC supports the introduction of ultra-premium electric vehicles.

Expected Prices In The Middle East

Although official pricing has not been announced, the Ferrari Luce is expected to exceed AED 2,000,000 in the UAE depending on configuration.
Given its performance figures and bespoke design collaboration, pricing could approach AED 2,300,000 for higher specifications.

Ferrari Luce EV: Final Reveal Timeline

Ferrari is expected to unveil the complete exterior design in May. The Luce represents not only Ferrari’s first EV but also a bold experiment in merging tactile craftsmanship with futuristic materials.
Its success will determine how the brand balances heritage performance with an electrified future.
