Mercedes-AMG has confirmed that future Black Series models are officially in development. Outgoing CEO Michael Schiebe stated that the ultra-high-performance lineup will continue because Black Series is more than a sub-brand; it is “an obligation.”
The confirmation reassures enthusiasts who feared the legendary badge might quietly disappear.

Schiebe emphasized that any new Black Series must be radical and convincingly superior in performance. These limited-production models are designed to be the most track-focused and extreme versions in AMG’s portfolio.

Possible AMG GT Successor

Speculation suggests the next Black Series could be based on the second-generation AMG GT platform. A previously teased Concept AMG GT Track Sport may preview what’s coming.
AMG leadership indicated that the successor must raise performance standards significantly, continuing the aggressive legacy established by prior models.

Black Series models are highly sought after in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where limited-production performance cars command strong resale values.
Collectors in the region favor track-capable supercars with exclusivity and heritage, making future Black Series models particularly attractive to GCC buyers.

Pricing for future Black Series models has not been announced. However, based on previous examples, starting prices could exceed AED 1,200,000.
Highly specified or limited-run variants may approach AED 1,500,000 depending on performance upgrades and production volume.
