Jeep continues its “Twelve 4 Twelve” campaign with the 2026 Wrangler Willys 392, one of 12 special-edition Wranglers scheduled to debut over a year. This latest model blends heritage-inspired design cues with modern V-8 performance, reinforcing Jeep’s strategy of keeping the Wrangler fresh through limited-run variants that celebrate the brand’s legacy.
Jeep Wrangler Willys 392: Retro Details Meet Modern Muscle
Jeep says the Willys 392 channels the spirit of the original Willys models, and it wears subtle nods to that heritage. A bold “Willys” decal stretches across the hood in a military-style font, while the tailgate features a vintage “4 Wheel Drive” graphic.
Buyers can also choose a new yellow paint color called Goldilocks, giving the rugged off-roader a distinctive look that stands out among more traditional hues.
Jeep Wrangler Willys 392: 6.4-Liter Hemi V-8 Power
Under the hood sits Jeep’s 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, delivering 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The naturally aspirated engine pairs with a two-mode exhaust system, allowing drivers to amplify or tame the V-8 soundtrack.
This powertrain transforms the Wrangler into a high-performance off-roader capable of serious acceleration while maintaining the brand’s signature trail capability.
Trail-Ready Hardware
The Willys 392 comes standard with 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires mounted on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels. Jeep says this setup contributes to 11.1 inches of ground clearance.
Additional off-road equipment includes an electronic locking rear differential, a full-time transfer case, Dana 44 heavy-duty front and full-float rear axles, and a 4.56 axle ratio. Steel bumpers, rock rails, and a functional cold-air intake with a water separator round out the rugged package.
Comfort and Capability Combined
Inside, the Willys 392 balances toughness with comfort. Heated, power-adjustable Nappa leather front seats come standard, along with an Alpine nine-speaker sound system. The Trailer Tow package is also included, enhancing versatility for owners who plan to haul gear or recreational equipment.
Orders open in March, and pricing starts at $71,990. With V-8 power, heritage styling, and serious off-road credentials, the Willys 392 continues Jeep’s tradition of building Wranglers that appeal to both collectors and adventure seekers alike.
