Alfa Romeo has unveiled one of its wildest modern special editions with the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, revealed at the 2026 Brussels Auto Show. Created in collaboration with the Luna Rossa America’s Cup sailing team, this ultra-limited sedan blends motorsport-inspired aerodynamics with nautical design cues, all while keeping the Giulia’s ferocious performance intact.
A Collaboration Rooted In Italian Motorsport & Sailing
The Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa is inspired by the Luna Rossa AC75 racing sailboat that competes in the America’s Cup. Alfa Romeo says the project celebrates shared Italian engineering values such as lightweight construction, aerodynamic efficiency, and high-performance design. Only 10 units of this special edition will be built, and all have already been sold.
Extreme Aerodynamics With Sailboat Influence

The most striking feature of the Luna Rossa edition is its dramatic two-piece rear wing. Unlike a conventional single wing, this setup consists of two separate elements mounted above each taillight. Alfa Romeo says the design is directly inspired by the hydrofoils used on the Luna Rossa AC75 sailboat, which lift the vessel above the water at speed.
On the Giulia, those foils are inverted to generate downforce. Alfa Romeo claims the full aerodynamic package produces around 308 LB of downforce at 186 MPH, which is roughly five times more than the standard Giulia Quadrifoglio.
Up front, the car gains small dive planes on the outer edges of the bumper along with underbody vanes to increase front-end grip. Carbon-fiber side skirts feature a vertical fin ahead of the rear wheels, further enhancing airflow management.
Distinctive Exterior Design & First-Ever Red Badges
Visually, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa wears a silver exterior contrasted by bold red accents. These include red Alfa Romeo badges, marking the first time in the brand’s history that the iconic emblem has been finished in red. A red “Luna Rossa” stripe runs along the doors, reinforcing the connection to the sailing team.
The look is completed by 19-INCH wheels finished entirely in red, giving the sedan a motorsport-inspired stance that stands out even among other Quadrifoglio models.
Bespoke Interior Inspired By Racing Gear
Inside, the Luna Rossa theme continues with extensive red accents across the cabin. Alfa Romeo introduces a unique grey upholstery that takes inspiration from the personal flotation devices worn by the Luna Rossa sailing crew. The dashboard features a special thin film material derived from layers used in the construction of the sailboat’s racing sails, adding a subtle but meaningful design detail.
Twin-Turbo V6 Performance Remains Untouched

Mechanically, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa remains unchanged, and that is very much a good thing. Power comes from the familiar 2.9-LITER twin-turbocharged V6 producing 505 HP and 443 LB-FT of torque. An 8-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION sends all power to the rear wheels, preserving the Giulia’s sharp and engaging driving character.
Part Of Alfa Romeo’s New Bottega Fuoriserie Program
This special edition is one of the first products of Alfa Romeo’s newly announced Bottega Fuoriserie program. The division focuses on bespoke vehicles, ultra-limited editions, and the restoration of historic Alfa Romeo models, signaling a renewed emphasis on craftsmanship and exclusivity.
Prices In The Middle East
Alfa Romeo has not announced official pricing for the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, and the model is not expected to be offered in the Middle East. However, the standard Giulia Quadrifoglio typically starts at around AED 420,000 in regional markets, depending on specifications and availability. Given its extreme rarity and bespoke features, the Luna Rossa edition would command a significantly higher price if offered.
A Final Celebration Of The Giulia Era

With the next-generation Giulia delayed as Alfa Romeo transitions toward hybrid powertrains, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa stands as a dramatic farewell to one of the most exciting sports sedans of the modern era. Limited to just 10 examples, it represents a bold fusion of automotive performance and elite sailing technology.
