Porsche has done it just a few days ago with the 963RSP, and now it’s Aston Martin’s turn to take on the customer LeMans race car trend. A few years ago, Aston Martin unveiled the Valkyrie hypercar, which people refused to believe it as a road-legal car. Its track performance was identical to an actual F1 car and had a V12 underneath the rear hood.
Aston Martin has taken the Valkyrie this year to the upcoming 2025 24 Hours Of Le Mans, and the Valkyrie Le Mans race car will be offered to 10 special customers. Heres what you need to know about this hypercar.
Valkyrie LM – Overview

Aston Martin has debuted the Valkyrie LM, a track-only car closely based on the race car that will challenge for overall victory at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans. Only 10 of these cars will be built, and Aston will offer a driver training program that involves simulator time, data, onboard camera analysis, and track-day gear.
This is a very special occasion for Aston Martin, as it marks the first time the automaker will be competing for the overall win at Le Mans since 2011. If Aston Martin is successful, it will be the automaker’s first overall victory since 1959 when Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori took first in the Aston Martin DBR1, yes, that Carroll Shelby.
Valkyrie LM Design – Interstellar Curves

This Vehicle is spectacular to look at, just like the road-going version. At the front, the headlights are different and are exactly the same spec as those on the Le Mans racer; the front aero is very aggressive and features large air intakes for venturi effects underneath the car.
There are Roof winglets which look like they could cut anything in their way, these direct turbulent air over the car to the massive Le Mans spec rear wing. The winglets on the rear wing itself are massive for added high-speed stability and downforce. The sidepods of this vehicle are fully functional as well. The only thing cosmetic about the vehicle is the British Racing Green paint job.

The Interior is also exactly the same as the racing spec version, and has Alcantara everywhere inside the cabin. The cabin also features a LeMans racing spec steering wheel, and the seats will be specially crafted for the driver.
Valkyrie LM Powertrain – Free Of Forced Induction
“Free of forced induction”, yes this vehicle’s engine, even in this day and age, is a naturally aspirated Cosworth modified V12 engine, just like the one on the road car. However, the road-going Valkyrie had an added hybrid system, but Le Mans regulation engine does not get the hybrid system.

Without the Hybrid system, this engine is tuned to make 697 horsepower as required by racing regulations. While that’s notably less power than the road-going Valkyrie, the LM’s missing hybrid hardware will drop the curb weight considerably and will feel much better to rev. The Valkyrie LM’s V12 hooks up to the rear wheels through a seven-speed sequential transmission operated via paddle shifters, just like the race car.
Valkyrie LM – Verdict
The pricing has yet to be disclosed by Aston Martin, but it should be around 12 million AED, and the vehicle is probably already sold out. This hypercar will generate a lot of hype for Aston Martin, even though it is not road legal, as it is one of only a few brands giving it’s customer a literal Le mans race car as a weekend toy.
