Aston Martin Vanquish: British Elegance Reborn

2 min read

Grand Tourers have always been a special form of sports cars, especially because of their big engines with large displacements making them unstressed for continuous high speed travelling. One such gem is the Vanquish, reborn and rejuvenated for the year 2025. The Vanquish is powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12, and all of the 835PS is sent to the rear wheels of the Vanquish, making the experience as raw as possible. This is Aston Martin’s flagship offering, and they sure have left no stone unturned in making it stand out from its rivals.

Unlike some of its rivals, there is no hybrid wizardry in the Vanquish. The vanquish might feel old-school to some because of this, but the car is no slouch at all. The British Grand Tourer can hit the 62MPH mark in a mere 3.3 seconds, and the speedo maxes out at 214MPH. The engine produces 1000NM of torque, giving the driver a truly earth shattering experience!

Though the engine might sound old-school, there sure is some modern tech that is worth talking about. The engine comes with 48 valves, with an all allloy quad overhead cam. The engine is front-mid mounted, ensuring that there is a perfect balance between sporty handling and confident high speed road manners. The exhaust system of the Vanquish is made of fully catalysed stainless steel, mounted in a cross pipe layout.

But, unlike its hybrid competitors, the Vanquish loses out in fuel economy numbers due to the absence of the hybrid system. The Vanquish will deliver numbers anywhere between 10.8 MPG-25.5 MPG depending on how one drives the car.

Not only does the Vanquish look a class apart, but the performance numbers and the driving experience also suggest that it drives like it is a class apart too. The Vanquish also comes with all the necessary features one would need in 2025, further strengthening its “Grand Tourer” abilities. To give a small gist, the Vanquish comes with features like a full ADAS suite, satellite navigation, Apple Carplay etc.
