What We Know – Neue Klasse 5 Series
There have not been any official confirmations about this upcoming BMW 5 series facelift from BMW as of now, as it is currently in its early development stages in Germany. The vehicle has been spotted multiple times being tested vigorously at the Nurburgring. The 5 series and M5 with the Neue Klasse Fascia will be launched somewhere in Mid-2026.
What’s Going To Be Different?
Apart from an updated exterior, it will get revised interiors as well along with engine upgrades to suit the upcoming EURO-7 Emission standards that automakers are currently worried about. Along with this, we might be introduced with a special variant of the M5 more powerful than the base M5, possibly a CS variant with light weight treatment and suspension upgrades.

With rising controversies over the years based on the design choices BMW’s design team has made, only time can tell us if this design choice is fit to change what the 5 series looks like today, which a lot of customers do not like.
