Ford has reduced the starting price of the F-150 Raptor for the 2027 model year. The performance pickup now starts at $77,790, which is $4,010 lower than the previous model year.
The price cut brings the F-150 Raptor below the Ram 1500 RHO by $295. However, Ford has removed several features from the standard equipment list to achieve the lower starting price.
2027 Ford F-150 Raptor Gets Lower Starting Price
The 2027 F-150 Raptor now starts at $77,790 in the US. This makes it slightly more affordable than the Ram 1500 RHO, which starts at $78,085.
Ford has lowered the price as competition increases in the high-performance pickup segment. However, the lower price does not come without changes to the equipment list.
Ford F-150 Raptor Loses Standard Features

Ford has removed several previously standard features from the 2027 F-150 Raptor. These include the 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, rear heated seats, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column and a head-up display.
Buyers can add these features back through the Equipment Group 801A package. The package costs $4,120 and restores the removed equipment.
As a result, a 2027 Raptor equipped with the same features as the 2026 model costs around $10 more than before. Therefore, the headline price cut mainly benefits buyers who do not require the additional equipment.
2027 Ford F-150 Raptor Engine & Performance
The standard F-150 Raptor continues with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine. It produces 450 HP and 510 LB-FT of torque.
Ford’s performance pickup can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in a claimed 5.2 seconds. Its combination of high power, long-travel suspension and off-road hardware allows it to compete with other high-performance trucks.
Ford F-150 Raptor Vs Ram 1500 RHO
The main rival to the F-150 Raptor is the Ram 1500 RHO. The Ram uses a turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-6 engine that produces 540 HP and 521 LB-FT of torque.
The Ram is also quicker, with a claimed 0-60 MPH time of 4.4 seconds. However, the Ford now starts at a slightly lower price, giving buyers another reason to consider the Raptor.
Ford F-150 Raptor R Returns For 2027
Ford is also expected to bring back the more powerful F-150 Raptor R for the 2027 model year. Pricing and equipment details for the high-performance version have not yet been announced.
The previous Raptor R used a supercharged V8 and produced 720 HP. For 2026, it carried a starting price of $113,525. Meanwhile, the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT starts at $102,790 and produces 777 HP.
Ford could therefore revise the Raptor R’s pricing to strengthen its position against the new Ram model.
| Model | US Starting Price |
|---|---|
| 2027 Ford F-150 Raptor | $77,790 |
| Ram 1500 RHO | $78,085 |
| 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT | $102,790 |
| These figures are US prices and should not be treated as India on-road or ex-showroom prices. |
Conclusion

Ford has lowered the starting price of the 2027 F-150 Raptor as competition in the performance pickup segment intensifies. The $4,010 reduction makes it slightly cheaper than the Ram 1500 RHO.
However, Ford has also removed several standard features and moved them into an optional package. Buyers who want the same equipment as the previous model will therefore see little effective savings.
The F-150 Raptor continues with its 450 HP twin-turbo V6, while the upcoming Raptor R could bring a more direct challenge to the powerful Ram TRX SRT.
