Honda’s hottest hatch is leaving the market due to emission rules, but it’s bidding farewell with the limited-volume Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition builds upon the standard Civic Type R’s performance and design, adding exclusive aesthetic and functional enhancements.
Exterior Enhancements
- The exterior enhancements in the ultimate edition include:
- Championship White paint with red accents, including a go-faster pinstripe on the bonnet and a staggered motif along the sides.
- Black-painted roof and carbon fiber details on the wing spoiler and doorstep garnish.
- Type R logo projected from the side door mirrors.

The interior feature additions include a red accented steering wheel and bucket-style comfort seats, and a serial number plaque for added exclusivity. Each of the 40 Ultimate cars will also come with a gift box with an individually numbered emblem.

- Retains the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering 315HP (242 kW) and a top speed of 275 KM/H.
- Features a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential for enhanced driving dynamics.
- Equipped with Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires for improved stopping power and grip
- The FL5 Honda Civic Type R’s Nürburgring lap time is 7 minutes and 44.881 seconds. This lap time makes it the fastest front-wheel-drive car at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
