Mitsubishi has revealed another teaser for the upcoming Montero, also known as the Pajero in many global markets. The latest preview confirms the return of one of the SUV’s most recognizable features. This time, however, the classic triple-meter display gets a modern digital makeover.
The new Montero will make its global debut in Asia later this year. Meanwhile, the North American version is expected to arrive closer to 2030. The SUV will target buyers looking for a capable body-on-frame off-roader with modern technology.
Digital Triple-Meter Gauges Make A Comeback
One of the biggest highlights is the return of the legendary triple-meter display. However, Mitsubishi has redesigned it for the digital era. Instead of traditional analog gauges, drivers will now see real-time information on a digital interface.
The Multi Meter will display altitude, compass direction, ambient temperature, pitch and roll angles, and left-right torque distribution. As a result, drivers will receive useful off-road information without needing extra accessories.
