Nissan is expanding the 2027 Kicks lineup with the new Rock Creek trim. The rugged version adds standard all-wheel drive, a chunky roof rack and an off-road driving mode. It also receives unique exterior styling and extra cabin features, giving the subcompact SUV a more adventurous character.
Rugged Exterior With Standard AWD
The Kicks Rock Creek is based on the SV trim and comes with all-wheel drive as standard. It features unique 17-inch wheels, black exterior trim and amber daytime running lights.
A redesigned grille also gives the SUV a tougher appearance. The roof rack and crossbars can carry up to 165 LB, adding useful space for outdoor equipment.
Off-Road Mode Adds Extra Capability
Nissan has added an off-road driving mode to the Rock Creek. The system allows additional wheel slip through the traction control system when driving on loose surfaces.
Hill-descent control also helps the SUV maintain a controlled speed on steep sections. However, Nissan has not made any major mechanical changes to the Kicks.
8.4-Inch Ground Clearance
The Rock Creek retains the standard Kicks’ 8.4-inch ground clearance. That figure is slightly lower than the 8.7-inch clearance offered by the Subaru Crosstrek.
Despite this difference, the new trim should handle gravel roads, trails and other light off-road conditions better than a conventional front-wheel-drive Kicks.
More Equipment Inside The Cabin
The Rock Creek receives unique seat upholstery and Rock Creek branding on the floor mats. Ambient interior lighting also adds a more premium feel.
The SUV comes with a 360-degree camera, heated steering wheel, heated seats and heated mirrors. Several of these features remain optional on other Kicks variants.

The 2027 Nissan Kicks Rock Creek starts at USD 30,385 in the US. Based on this price, the SUV could cost around AED 115,000 to AED 125,000 in the UAE if introduced in the region. Prices may vary across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman based on taxes, specifications and equipment.
