The biggest highlight of the 2027 Nissan Z is the introduction of a six-speed manual transmission for the Z NISMO.

Unlike a simple gearbox swap, Nissan re-engineered the performance model with chassis and braking upgrades to complement the manual transmission. Consequently, drivers can expect a more rewarding and connected driving experience.

Twin-Turbo V6 Delivers Up To 420 HP

The standard Z Sport and Z Performance continue to use a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine producing 400 HP.

Meanwhile, the flagship Z NISMO generates 420 HP, making it the most powerful version in the lineup. Power reaches the rear wheels through either the new six-speed manual or the nine-speed automatic transmission.

Performance Upgrades Enhance Driving Dynamics

Beyond the extra power, the Z NISMO features several mechanical enhancements designed for spirited driving.

Nissan has fitted upgraded front brakes, revised chassis tuning and performance-focused suspension components. Furthermore, the Performance trim continues to offer forged 19-inch RAYS alloy wheels, larger brakes and a limited-slip differential.

Manual & Automatic Cost The Same

Nissan continues its enthusiast-friendly pricing strategy by offering both transmissions at identical prices.

As a result, buyers can choose either the six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic without paying an additional premium. This approach makes the manual-equipped Z NISMO even more appealing for driving enthusiasts.

Modern Cabin With Driver-Focused Technology

The 2027 Nissan Z retains its sporty interior with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system.

The cabin also features supportive sports seats, premium materials and modern connectivity, ensuring comfort during both daily driving and spirited weekend journeys.

Prices In The Middle East

The 2027 Nissan Z has not yet received official pricing for Middle Eastern markets. However, based on current exchange rates and regional positioning, the Z Sport is expected to start from around AED 168,000, while the Z Performance could begin at approximately AED 205,000. The flagship Z NISMO is expected to start from around AED 252,000 in the UAE. Prices may vary across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman depending on local taxes, specifications and optional equipment.

The 2027 Nissan Z is already arriving at dealerships in select global markets, with Middle Eastern availability expected to follow in the coming months. Once launched, the sports coupe will compete with the BMW M2, Ford Mustang GT and Toyota GR Supra where available. Overall, the addition of a six-speed manual to the Z NISMO strengthens Nissan’s performance lineup and makes the iconic sports car an even more attractive choice for enthusiasts across the Middle East.
