Manthey Package Makes Taycan Turbo GT Even More Extreme
Porsche has taken the already wild Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package and pushed it even further with a new Manthey performance kit. Developed with Manthey Racing, the upgraded electric supersedan now delivers sharper aerodynamics, improved chassis tuning, and more track-focused hardware. The result is a machine that has officially become the fastest production electric executive car around the Nürburgring.
The Manthey-enhanced Taycan Turbo GT improves the car’s overall stability at high speed while also boosting cornering performance. Porsche has not yet announced official pricing for the package, but it will sit above the Taycan Turbo GT Weissach Package, which already starts at around $245,950.
Nürburgring Lap Time Drops By 12 Seconds

With Porsche development driver Lars Kern behind the wheel, the Manthey-spec Taycan Turbo GT completed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in just 6 minutes and 55.553 seconds. That is more than 12 seconds faster than the standard Weissach-equipped Taycan Turbo GT, which previously recorded a 7:07.55 lap.
The new record places Porsche ahead of rivals in the electric performance sedan category. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra with the Track Package now sits behind the Porsche with a recorded lap time of 7:04.957. The massive improvement highlights how effective the Manthey upgrades are on one of the world’s toughest circuits.
Massive Aerodynamic Upgrades Improve Downforce

The Manthey package introduces major aerodynamic revisions designed to maximize grip and stability. Porsche says the updated setup generates nearly three times more downforce than the standard Taycan Turbo GT. At its 192 MPH top speed, the car produces an incredible 1631 LB of downforce.
The upgraded package includes a larger one-piece front splitter, revised front and rear diffusers, carbon-fiber fender flares, and wider side skirts. The rear section gets Manthey’s signature aerodisc wheels along with a huge fixed rear wing that improves airflow efficiency at high speeds.
Chassis And Brake Upgrades Enhance Track Performance
The improvements are not limited to the bodywork. Porsche and Manthey Racing also upgraded the Taycan’s suspension, steering calibration, and all-wheel-drive system to improve handling precision. The forged 21-inch wheels are wider and lighter than the standard setup, while optional street-legal track tires increase mechanical grip.
Braking performance has also been upgraded with larger front brake rotors and enhanced brake pads. Porsche additionally retuned the Active Ride suspension system to better control body movements during aggressive driving on track.
Electric Powertrain Gets More Torque
The Taycan Turbo GT’s dual-motor setup has also received technical upgrades. Porsche increased the pulse inverter current from 1100 amps to 1300 amps, helping unlock higher torque figures and improved performance in multiple drive modes.
Launch mode still produces a maximum 1019 HP, but peak torque now rises to 936 LB-FT. Standard driving mode now generates 804 HP, while Attack mode delivers 978 HP. These upgrades help the Taycan maintain stronger acceleration while improving overall responsiveness during high-performance driving.
Porsche Continues To Push EV Performance Limits

The Taycan Turbo GT already stood as one of the most extreme electric performance cars available today, but the Manthey package shows Porsche is still chasing faster lap times and greater track capability. With sharper aerodynamics, upgraded hardware, and more focused chassis tuning, the Manthey-spec Taycan Turbo GT demonstrates how far electric performance sedans have evolved.
Deliveries and pricing details for the Manthey package are expected to be announced later this year. Porsche enthusiasts looking for the ultimate track-focused EV will likely find this new setup difficult to ignore.
